8 Accessory Trends To Try This AutumnRead Time: 4 minutes
Summer is officially coming to an end in less than a month and Snob Queens wants to help you gear up for the change in season. Tons of accessory trends hit the Autumn/Winter 2019 runways and instead of boring you with the repetitive accessory trends we always follow. Snob Queens wanted to tell you about the trends that were a bit more out of the box. We always switch to super cute boots in the fall and we rock different types of hats to fight the cooler weather. This year designers felt we weren’t covered with enough accessories and went for something a bit more dramatic.
A few of these trends may seem out of your comfort zone, but give them a try anyway. If you don’t like something or feel comfortable you can always change it. While I was making this list, I was thinking of all the things I wouldn’t try, from first glance. But now that I’ve written this I am willing to go out of my comfort zone and give these a try. I mean the point of trends is to wear something we wouldn’t ordinarily wear.
Here are 8 fall accessory trends to try this Autumn:
Crystal Embellished Heels
Adding a bit of bling to your outfit has never been out of the question. Now that bling can be on your new favorite pair of pumps adding that much needed flair to any outfit this season. Forget the thoughts crystal embellished pumps are for special occasions and throw a pair on with your favorite pair of jeans and a cute sweater and hit the streets.
This has to be one of my favorite accessory trends. We’ve seen novelty bags year in and year out, but this season the bold just got bolder. Quirky bags have gone down the runway before, but this season everyone seems to be getting on board. It seems every designer wants their bag to stand out more than everyone else’s and I’m not mad about it. I love the different bag designs and the creativity we are seeing for the cost of the product. Give novelty bags a try this Autumn to liven up any outfit.
Long AF Earrings
Nicki Minaj had everyone rocking inches, now the inches are hanging down from our ears. Earrings are hanging down well past our shoulders. This accessory is one we are going to see celebrities rocking everywhere. Personally, I’m excited to try this trend to see how the weight is managed on my ears. And let’s be honest I can’t wait to rock this trend with a cute high bun.
Safety pins have become a style staple this season. They are being added to clothing, jewelry, and any other accessory to make it unique. I like the safety pin look when it is done well. I have been wanting to add safety pins to everything for a while now, so I was beyond excited to see this trend finally come forth. When the trend is done right it looks amazing.
Oversized brooches that bring the drama are going to be seen all Autumn and Winter long this 2019. Adding brooches to outerwear has gone on for years, but this season the brooches are stealing the attention. People can’t help but see these huge blingy pieces you’ve added to your wardrobe.
Opulent Matching Sets
It’s one thing to have a matching set of stud earrings and a nice necklace to match. It’s another thing when those nice sets are bigger than your cell phone. I haven’t worn a matching jewelry set in years, so for it to become a trends designers must have decided bigger is better. Oh my did they go big, these huge sets are definitely going to make heads turn this season. Beyonce already showed us how to rock the trend once it hit the runways. Maybe we can follow her cue on the perfect way to wear this head turning accessory trend.
No longer just for your 2 year old daughter, now glittery tights are in and exciting. Paired under a cute dress this fall makes your outfit fun in an unpredictable way. This trend is not to make you look juvenile and can actually make you look extremely chic.
Masks were seen on the Fall 2019 runways and I don’t know how I feel about this accessory trend. The trend would be great to rock in snowy weather and you’re bundled up keeping your face warm. However there’s really no winter in Houston, so I may not be able to demonstrate this one. But if you live anywhere that gets cold weather find a cute chic mask to match your outerwear and hit the road.
